Filco Majestouch Rebuild 加装USB HUB

應該有人知道這隻, 這支是日本的Diatec委託台灣的笙春代工的鍵盤 Diatec的鍵盤品牌是Filco, 最常用的是ALPS白軸吧? 這隻Majestouch是用cherry茶軸作的, 108鍵的JP Layout鍵盤, 我買的是黑色無假名印字(無刻印)的版本, 還蠻好看的, 這隻鍵盤整隻作成消光黑, 價錢約合台幣2500~2600左右, USB 介面 這次日本行有幫網友帶一隻HHKB Pro 黑色無刻印, 因為覺得分離式的接線設計不錯, 所以想幫我的Majestouch變身一下 過程其實很簡單, 他原本的USB線是快速接頭的, 鬆開螺絲就可以取下, 接著我去買了個USB HUB, 解焊其中的兩個Port, 一個焊線拉到快速接頭進去, 另外用一個Mini 5Pin slot去當輸入, 最後在上面開個孔就完成了 首拍

Hi emilwu! GOOD JOB! If I were you, I might set USB input port at the side wall of the keyboard. But it's a minor issue anyway and your rebuild project is great. I can'nt find any visible sign of Strongman on the upper/lower housing nor on the PCB of Majestouch. Key caps are very different from Filco 91JP/JU series which are definitely made by 笙春. Of course there are many key cap suppliers in Taiwan or in mainland Chiana and 笙春 could change such suppliers for their products. I really want to know which keyboard manufacturer actually makes Majestouch.

But if I find a better place for it in the future, placing the usb port on the right may not be such a good idea anymore. I have put some thoughts into this; having usb on the right is quite convenient, and as for connectivity, it sits right by Majestouch's internal connectors, while my computer also is on the right side. However, having taken the future expandability into consideration, I have decided to put the jack in the middle I might actually open up 3 holes(left, middle, right), and switch between them. I really want to know which keyboard manufacturer actually makes Majestouch.[/quotec] 台灣有開模生產Cherry鍵盤的廠商不多(Datacomp&StrongMan), 我會這樣說是因為之前幫Filco OEM的廠商就是強人(笙春), 加上有網友因為key cap的問題跟Filco連絡, 最後是一家台北中永和的OEM廠商跟他連絡, 而笙春正是在那一帶, 而台灣的鍵盤廠商品質好的來來去去就那幾家, 就已經接洽過的幾家廠商來說, 都沒有做過Cherry的鍵盤, 所以我會相信Majestouch也是笙春作的 There really isn't much Cherry manufacturers in Taiwan(Datacomp&StrongMan), I am saying this because 強人(笙春) used to OEM for Filco, and that a net friend of this form contacted them due to key cap issues on his Majestouch. In the end Filco requested the OEM factory to get in contact with him, and from the number it seems the factory in located somewhere in 台北市 中永和區. while 笙春 also is in that area. Anyway, there is only so many good mech. keyboard makers in Taiwan, and considering all that I have been contact with haven't made any Cherry KB's, there is a pretty good chance that 笙春 makes Majestouch. |
